Does this work on mobile?
It works best on a desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). On mobile, the source code step is harder to do. We recommend using a computer.
Will the account owner know I downloaded their post?
Do not assume a private-content action is invisible. Instagram can change its product behavior, and you should save private media only with the creator's permission.
What is the 'Paste Source Code' step?
Because private posts are protected, we can't access them with just a link. The generated URL opens the post's data in your browser (since you're logged in). You copy that data and paste it here so SaveGr can find the download link for you.
